City of Nauvoo v. Clements (Nauvoo Mayor's Court): For breach of ordinance by disorderly conduct ("slanderous and abusive language") toward the wife, son, and daughter of Duncan ­McArthur. City of Nauvoo recovered $5 in debt and $3.62½ in court costs (Albert Clements on December 22 1842); $1 in debt and $2.62½ in court costs (Henry Tener on December 20, 1842); in addition, $0.66 in debt and $0.25 in court costs (Henry Tener on April 4, 1843).
